What are CTFs?
Capture the Flag (CTF) is a type of competition in which participants solve security-related puzzles to find hidden notes (flags) in the system or network. The tasks in a CTF can range from simple coding challenges and cryptography puzzles to more complex tasks that involve reverse engineering, network analysis, and other skills. CTFs are an excellent way to improve your technical skills and to learn more about cybersecurity and hacking. CTFs can be organized as large events (in person or online), or as individual competitons that can be played from home or any location at one's own pace (e.g. on Hack The Box). Who are you?
Hi, my name is Christoph and I work as a security professional. I find CTFs to be an enjoyable way to make professional progress. To practice my writing and share my methods for solving challenges with the wider community, I've created this blog where I'll be posting my writeups. If you'd like to read more from me, feel free to check out my main blog. How can I reach you?
